Resetting the Sweeps of Your Luminox Chronograph Series Watch

Luminox Chronograph Navy SEAL Series was released in five versions: black, white, orange, green and blue. They feature 44-millimeter PC carbon reinforced case, screw down stainless steel case back, double locking clasp bracelet, and the Luminox Light Technology (LLT) on the hands, hour markers and bezel markings all color-coordinated. The sweeps refer to the hour, minute, and seconds hands which have the tendency to display incorrect time when battery failure occurs. Similarly, you’ll need to adjust or reset the sweeps when Daylight Saving Time begins.

Luminox Chronograph Navy SEAL Series

  • Begin by gently pulling out the crown located in the middle dial on the right hand side of the Luminox chronograph watch to the III position.
  • Press and hold the two buttons found above and below the crown for at least 2 seconds until the center stop-second dial rotates 360 degrees and then release. The button above the crown is the “A” button and the one below the crown is the “B” button.
  • Start adjusting the center stop-second dial by pressing the “A” button one time to move the hand one step. Hold the button to continuously move the dial and release when the hand is at a desired position.
  • Press the “B” button to move the next hand. Adjust the 1/10 second counter hand by following the same previous steps. Press the “B” button to move to the next hand.
  • Press the “B” button to move the next hand. Adjust the 1/10 second counter hand by following the same previous steps. Press the “B” button to move to the next hand.
  • Once the sweeps are adjusted accordingly, return the crown to the I position.
